Praise the Lord! It is here!! The new project by Consonance entitled, "Message Of Hope". This is a great cd by the smooth singing group of gospel officionados. This cd has some very hot tracks. If you want gospel, they got it! If you want funky R&B, then you got it on this cd. Let the sounds of this cd soothe your spiritual needs while you appreciate and enjoy the very skillful vocals of Consonance. From the first track, "Wonderful", written by Mack Williams, you will see that this is a unique sound from a very professional group. And if you like traditional gospel, try "That Old Ship Of Zion" with Paul Foster, Jr. on the lead. It is a fresh and compelling song with a powerful message. Rev. Sam Cox, Rev. Melvin Williams, Mack Williams, Paul Foster, Jr. and Bobby Reed make up this awesome group. You will love this project.

Review of the SF Fillmore Jazz Festival

Consonance performed on Sunday, July 4th at the Fillmore Jazz Festival. They were the opening act at 10 am with very few people there at the beginning. But once they started to sing, the crowd swell rapidly.

Their set was from 10 - 11:30 a.m. and it was a mix of traditional gospel and some hand-clapping "good news blues" that had the crowd on their feet giving early morning praise. Paul Foster, Jr. and Mack Williams did most of the lead singing. They were join on vocals by drummer Rev. Sam Cox and bassist Bobby Reed. Their lead guitarist was none other than the awesome Lloyd Gregory.

Their set was tight and it was filled with emotion. The group is really good at engaging the audience and getting them involved in their show. It was a real treat to see them in rare form at this venue.

Hey folks! Hope the Christmas season was a joyous one for you. We are working hard in the studio. It is really amazing how you can get intensely involved with your music and let the creative juices flow in the name of the Lord. And believe me, God is really blessing these projects. They are different and should be a treat to our fans. We just ask you all to be patient with us and hopefully you will really like what the Lord has inspired.
